Microtel By Wyndham Victor

This cute little hotel really surprises. It looks great outside and the rooms are great. Had a request for a rollaway bed and they simply changed our room to accommodate. The breakfast was awesome!! Real food selections.

Breakfast was disappointing

I especially thought front desk staff very hospitable and professional.

The beds were comfortable

The smell of this place smells like a nursing home if you ever worked in one you know that smell anywhere. There's no elevator only stairs so we had to carry over 8 bags up to the room on the second floor. The gym only had 2 workout pieces of equipment and didn't even have a treadmill as advertised in their pictures before booking. The Breakfast was the worst breakfast at a hotel that my husband and I experienced. Basically, nothing was fresh and it was the same breakfast every morning we were there. No fresh fruit everything you had to either reheat in the microwave or make yourself. My husband and I were so disappointed in Microtel that we will forever go to Holiday Inn from now on.

Great, peaceful stay.

No elevator, had to lug large suitcase up stairs. First room, 3 keys didn’t work. 4th key did work, but when opened, found room already occupied. 2nd room was hard to find. Staff person directed us down hall on wrong side of building. Hallways smelled like stale smoke. Comfortable beds and great water pressure in shower.

To much noise

No elevator was my only complaint! Amazing people working there. Super nice and helpful.

Excellent

The main issue we had was the key card not working. They would work once then we had to go get them redone. I had spinal surgery in June so I'm still having some mobility issues. We were on the 2nd floor so I had to take the stairs. Being locked out of the hotel and having to walk all the way around to the front to get the key card fixed was a lot. I don't think I'll ever stay at that Microtel again. We have stayed there before and never had any issues. It was disappointing.
