Todo en orden

We arrived late at night, actually it was more like early morning. Rio Amazonas is one of the few hotels that will let you check in that late. Check in was swift and we got a broom with a magnificent view over the city and Cotopaxi. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the bathroom brand new and beautiful. Breakfast is fabulous and the staff is very friendly. Not sure about the neighborhood yet, but it looks fine.

The room, without air conditioning and no opening window was way too hot in the afternoon. The toilet flush kept giving small flushes all night long which required the toilet door to be closed to reduce the noise.
