Harborview Inn

The property staff are very friendly. However, the property itself has not been updated since the 80’s, including the bedding. The rooms are very Spartan, though they do have a mini fridge. No air conditioning, which is problematic in the summer. If the windows open, you can hear the noises from the street. It is a quick walk to the docks, however, though no views of the ocean from any of the rooms that I could tell. The rooms themselves are extremely expensive for the very limited amenities.

We were very happy here after staying earlier at a harbor hotel $150 higher and zero view behind a hotel sign. We had a lovely room on the end of corridor within sight of the mountains by Seward. The hotel is attractive and fits in with the woodsy surroundings, and the manager was exceptionally helpful and kind.

Check in was easy, staff very friendly and helpful. Room was nice - clean and roomy.Close to everything, shuttle stop on side of property.

The hot water wasn’t hot enough and for the price we paid we should’ve had a continental breakfast at least
