Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham Appleton

Hotel overall was quiet and comfortable. Staff however made me feel very uncomfortable. Very rude and hard to understand.

Breakfast area has broken machinery, juice and coffee, coffee was available in dispenser!

This Microtel isn't as pictured or like other in the chain. It's a bit run down, no pool, hot tub wasn't in service during my visit (even though I wasn't going to use it), no coffee cups in lobby and if you need a handicapped room, but are traveling with a service animal; you don't get a handicapped accessible room. You have to stay in a room that's for "pets" regardless and provide a deposit. The deposit is refunded, but it's the accessibility disabled people need and their service animal.They're not pets. I've stayed at several of the Microtel hotels and have never had this issue before this place. On top of that, we had fleas in the room.

Second time staying here and hotel was rundown last time, but this time, it was even worse! In need of a serious remodel!

What you see in the pictures before reservation is not what you get. Rooms are very rundown. We reserved 2 rooms, bathrooms were not clean pubic hair on the walls. Stains on the towels. Mold on the bathroom faucet. Rooms smelled of mold. Sheets were ripped from overuse. Mattresses were so bad that we kept waking up from the back pain. Pillows were small decor size pillows. Vending machines did not work. Drawers in the room were stained. No night light for individuals you either have the whole room lit or nothing at all.

Hot tub was nice. Clean room. Friendly professional staff. Breakfast was pretty good for the price.
