Quality Inn Grove City - Columbus South

If I could rate Zero I would for very poor customer service. My father was traveling with a fiend and he left his phone there July 8th.He was 7 hours away. He was told by the front desk he’d have to set up a delivery service to pick it up. Yes, my 75+ dad should’ve been more responsible but mistakes happen. Prior to contacting FedEx, I asked the front desk if they can mail it out and charge me.I was told very rude,”We have jobs to do we can’t do it.” I’m an honest hard working individual that works in high impact customer service field . Horrible tone with me didn’t sit well. I asked for the Owner of the franchise he said Patel.I set up the FedEx express pickup emailed the front desk the packing label and the pick up time. Apparently the gentleman I had been in contact with didn’t want to be bothered. FedEx came and left because the individual just left the phone in a desk with a note for someone else to worry about it. The only one individual that I spoke to actually made sure the package was picked was Andrew,he needs to be the Manager. Now the hotel refused to answer the Better Business Bureau! In regard to giving me back the Express Fee, I was charged.

Location and price was decent

Our room smelled like it had been through a flood and soured. The air unit was extremely noisy and the beds felt like they were 60 years old

Room was dirty. Dirt on lights and switch covers, cushion on window seat had crust on it, grout on bathroom floor looked moldy, hair dryer was dirty. Front desk staff was a little off putting. Did not feel welcome. Room was tiny, which wasn’t a huge deal as we were only staying one night, but it was pretty dirty.

Staff is accommodating. There’s a lot of restaurants around the area and Walmart just few minutes from the hotel.

I will start by saying ther service was good. When I first arrived I was skeptical but the staff was very helpful. Beside that, some of the items in my room were dirty. There is also carpet everywhere that seemed filthy. They did note that the would be doing cleaning of that in the next few days. The pictures from the website were slightly catfish. The morning breakfast was ok for the most part.

Ants on window ledge where suppose to put luggage. Door to bathroom warped and had to use your whole body to get it to close. Exhaust fan didn’t work in bathroom. Exhaust fan was rusty and all corroded. It should have been replaced when bathroom was remodeled. Nobody at the desk when we checked out , even though I waited for at least 5 minutes so I could let them know there were ants in the room but nobody ever came! I left them a note! This was $150 room, not a $60-$80 room! We were very disappointed and may never stay in a Choice Hotel again!!!
