"Restful, peaceful stay in a classic country house hotel."

Relaxing and comfortable stay with attentive staff. The breakfast was wonderful, with home-baked soda bread toast the highlight and very good eggs. Room was GINORMOUS and had the comfiest bed. It was a quiet location, too and had lovely grounds and easy parking.

These are hard times, and there is evidence that they are working with a tight budget. Some of the fittings were mended or cracked, but the decor was of a high, classic standard and everything was beautifully clean, so it never felt bodged.

"Clean, friendly & easy accessibility"

The location was good, very close to Mallow. Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. We arrived early & the room was ready. Lovely breakfast served in the dining room, fabulous homemade brown bread. Highly recommend this accommodation

The atmosphere. The friendly staff. The cleinliness.

TheGuinness.i switched to Murphys. I'm a Guinness drinker... The signage at the entrance is poor.Your at the entrance before you realize it . That definitely needs attention.

I had dinner and it was very good, didn't have breakfast. Staff at the hotel were very good from first getting there and checking in and to the staff in restaurant/Bar and checking out the next morning.

Bathroom in the bedroom could do with a makeover.

"I wouldn’t return."

Quiet location. Spacious room. Nice staff.

Room was a little shabby for the price, and the bathroom was in bad need of renovation. There wasn’t nearly enough sockets in the room and nine beside the bed. The heating was too high and windows were restricted to not allow them to be opened for some air. Soundproofing was nonexistent, could hear every little noise from the rooms next door. Breakfast was poor - I ordered the French toast with crispy bacon and maple syrup. It was a dried rasher and the syrup was more akin to honey.
