I had to pull off the road because of snow so I was delighted when the closest place to stay was really nice, clean, and the girl at the front desk was friendly and helpful. I only knocked a start off because my kids and I were ready to grab something from the Continental breakfast before hitting the road... But there was nothing. Maybe staff was held up because of the snow, but I was still thoroughly disappointed and ended up spending a bunch of money for breakfast at McDonald's. Overall, great place to stay though
It was ok
It's a place to stay. And I mean that as a serious compliment. As someone that travels for business, all I want is a place where the property is clean and warm, and the staff is friendly. This is that place. A place to stay where I wish I could have stayed longer.
New Remodel underway. Very neat & clean
Fraud and theft at Econolodge at Cuba , NY , USA. We did not have a reservation, we pulled off I-86 , on Nov 3, 2024 around 10pm and ask for a single kind bed room. Checked in, got a room key. Entered room with our key, and discovered someone already in the room. Went back to desk, they apologized, and gave us a new room, 2 queen beds. Shower had mold, toilet was shimmed up on a piece of wood, and there was an odor in the room. We stayed as it was late and had a long day ahead of us.
Nice place to stay
I booked 4 nights and only stayed 2 nights and they said that was fine but I was never reimbursed for the 2 nights that I did not stay and the management never returned any of my calls I stayed here because I was on a budget and it cost me more for doing so
The couch and mattresses were old and need to be replaced. The bathroom and shower were clean. It was more expensive than our other stays on the 5-day trip, but the least comfortable.
The hotel seemed okay in the common areas but the room had a foul pet odor. The sheets were clean but when we checked for bed bugs we found the mattress to be filthy. Covered in stains and animal hair stuck to the fabric. But hey we didn’t find any bed bugs.
The hotel is a bit hard to find from the main road approaching from the West, but was clean and comfortable.
