Thon Hotel Sandven

L'hotel si trova al centro di Nordheimsund con vista sul Fjordo. Noi avevamo la camera nella parte vecchia dell'hotel. Bellissima camera arredata quasi come all'epoca della costruzione. Il balcone dava sul Fjordo. Camera abbastanza spaziosa, pulita e silenziosa. Staff cordiale. Colazione abbondante e buona. Parcheggio in loco o nelle vicinanze.

Nella parte dell'hotel dove abbiamo alloggiato noi purtroppo non c'era l'ascensore e con le valigie é stato un po faticoso. Ma per noi che siamo giovani non é stato un problema.

The location is magical! The staff extremely attentive. The construction prevented the ability to take in the views and having a worker right outside the window was awkward. The breakfast was very good. We would have enjoyed more vegan options. This hotel was far and above the others. We did the Rib Boat Tour and used the kayaks offered by the hotel. I was amazed that there we no flying bugs in Norway. We were outside the majority of the time.

Trevligt gammalt hotell, fina omgivningar

God service, god mat, hyggelig betjening. Jeg hadde et rom ut mot veien. Måtte ha vinduet oppe for lufting. Mye støy fra veien og lite søvn. Velg rom på andre siden - ut mot fjorden. Hotellet liggger fantastisk til, og med gode tur muligheter rett utenfor døren.

The location of the hotel is fantastic along the fjord. The old building has great atmosphere. Close to everything in town. The breakfast is very extensive although some of the ‘hot food’ was not very warm. Our room in the modern annex was fine but it faced a very busy street. Lots of trucks and other traffic passed. We had to use ear plugs to sleep. Very disappointing. Ask for a quiet room not facing that street.

Hadde leilighet med flott fjordutsikt. Deilig frokost. Gode senger. Litt slitt her og der på rom og terrasse. Litt reserverte ansatte.

Very nice quiet area.
