"Exceptional"

Very cozy, clean and calm hotel to spend 3 nights. Simple but sufficient breakfast, easy check-in & check-out. Parking in town could be little challenging but at least I managed to find free parking places (after 18:00) near by in the public street.

Nach Telefonat mit Hotels.com am 19.08.2022, trotz ich habe bezahlt (Paypal am09.08.2022!) meinen Zimmer wurde storniert beim Einreise sodass ich musste noch einmal das Zimmer bezahlen!!!

"THE hotel for this region"

Super hotel. The owner is really smart and gentle. The city Dettelbach is beautiful and the hotel belongs to one of the oldest bakery in Germany! They have an unique speciality, the Muskatzinen, really good (they offered me as a present for my stay in their hotel). The rooms are large and absolutely clean and very confortable. I can only recomment this hotel, it was a great pleasure

"Stay away!"

We made a reservation thru "Booking.com". We made a remark that we would arrive late (between 23:00 and 00:00). We arrived at the hotel 23:32 and it was closed!!. We tried to call but there was no answer. Finally we had to go to another hotel where we stayed to the next morning. The next day we wrote a message to the hotel thru their internal message system. When we got back from the holiday we found out that we had been charged for the "stay". We sent an email, but stil no answer. I guess the money is lost.....

"Lovely German hospitality "

We arrived very late but it was easy to park and get in to go to sleep. The bedrooms were very comfortable and breakfast was excellent. They were flexible to our needs & even served us earlier than normal due to our plans. Easy check out. Very nice village and area.

The Staff does not speak English, but they (4 girls) did everything they could to help us with lots of sympathy. Nice room while "value for money", but the bed and pillow were bad. The breakfast was good.

"Nice little place when travelling through germany"

We were going from italy to Denmark by A7, looking for a place to stay. This place was so much better than a hotel by the highway. Situated 8 km from A7 in a very cosy little town, Dettelbach - worth a stroll in the old City centre. The hotel was nice, clean and quite. The staff very friendly - some did not speak English. Breakfast buffet good. Also a small shop with pastries, beverages and candy - and restaurant. Hotel closes at 22 - so call Them if you arrive late. There's free parking in a garage nearby. Decor is rustic - but everything very cosy and clean. For us it was difficult to find the phone number - was not at booking.coms page - but can be found on hotels own Web page (remember not to dial the 0 if you Call from outside germany).
