Mourne Country House

What a gorgeous place. Classy decor. And a wonderful host. One of the nicest places Ivhave ever stayed!

Great stay, house, room, and food. The hotel in town offered shuttle service which allowed us to eat there and explore town on foot. Amazing hosts. Checked in on us regularly. The scenery in and out of the house was beautiful. We even got to see the sheep in the field. Definitely would go back if I rented a car.

If you don’t have a car, then it’s located a little too far from town to walk. We taxied in from the airport. Taxi’s don’t work on Sundays (our check out day). Thankfully our host drove us to the bus stop.

We had a truly fantastic stay at the Mourne Country House B&B. A lovely family run place. Gareth was very attentive and helpful and offered a lovely breakfast, and the place is absolutely pristinely clean. Great jump off point to the Mourne mountains. I really enjoyed being here and would highly recommend!

Rural scenic location yet a few miles from town which has a choice of places to eat. All rooms are spotless and have a real homely feel. Wonderful hosts, the best B&B we have ever stayed at.

Absolutely nothing.

The hosts really know what hospitality means. Top class treatment on a par with the amazing scenery. Breakfast options excellent. Cooked breakfast with local produce again top class. Impeccable.

Our stay was very relaxing and the hosts were very accommodating would definitely recommend staying here. Lovely breakfast too.

The house was decorated with attention to detail, and we felt warmly welcomed. The food was delicious and varied. The house is very well maintained and everything is very clean..... simply to feel good
