The room was clean, quiet (as requested), with a ceiling fan and good internet. Our bed was enormous and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our continental breakfast was plentiful and the normal fare. The hotel is situated on a roundabout about 10 minutes walk down hill to the old town, with its bars restaurants, and the river. Of course the return is uphill.

There were no drawers to place clothes. Car parking was an issue. There is free parking in the roads behind the hotel but finding a space is difficult. There is also a large free car park 5 minutes walk away except for Thursday night and Friday when the space is used for a market.
