Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lexington, KY

The guest room was generally dirty. The tv didn’t work and the remote thermostat was not working (dead batteries). They have a lot to improve on

Breakfast consists mostly of simple carbohydrates with hot eggs, hot sausage, hot potatoes, hot gravy and biscuits added.

Comfort Inn and Suites by Radisson carries with it an expectation of cleanliness and being up-to date. Although this franchise says it's owned by Radisson, it isn't. This hotel needs a good cleaning and new carpeting throughout as well as some upgrades. Our first room (310) had a torn blackout curtain, easy chair and couch were decades old with a big permanent marker mark on the easy chair and the A/C unit. (Toddler gone wild?) Dirty tub floor and dirty blow dryer. Water damage on bathroom wall. The shower head water pressure was so powerful that water saturated the bathroom floor on both ends outside of the curtain. There's a missing section of baseboard on the wet bar cabinet, a big hole in the tissue paper holder with spray paint specs on it. The staircase carpeting in main lobby (to 2nd floor) and service staircases are desperate to be cleaned and the woodwork/baseboards surrounding the staircase is filthy. Hallway carpeting on 2nd and 3rd floors have multiple worn spots. The main entrance sitting area and entryway need cleaning as the dirtiness gives a bad first bad impression to guests and the ashtray is overflowing with cigarette butts. The king mattress in room 310 was concave and we rolled to the middle of the bed. When we reported this to the night manager, he asked us if we'd tried flipping the mattress??? My husband told him that if that's the solution, please send hotel staff to our room to do that - which he didn't do. We asked for another room and Sophia, the day manager, very kindly accommodated us with a much better room for which we were very thankful.

I loved how clean it was and the layout ,the bed and bedding were nice and clean . Loved the fact that no animal's are allowed.

The couch wasn't in very good condition and didn't look clean , it definitely needs replaced .

They did change our room when we complained about the room we were given

Room we were initially given was not clean-bugs, curtains falling down…

It seemed clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast was not bad.

1. The parking was horrible. Not enough parking and you had to pull up and back up to checking in. 2. There are homeless people in the area. 3. Random people tried to come into the hotel, but the staff did go after them and escorted them out. 4. Noise carried a lot and could hear people talking. 5. There must have been a fire station nearby cause there were a lot of sirens.
