Viva Azteca by Wyndham, A Trademark All Inclusive Resort

Overall 7 days trip went good. Good food, friendly stuff, close to shopping and a 10 min walk to 5th street. Hotel is kind of outdated but we were there for the Ocean not a room. Did not have any people who want you to buy the Timeshare , that's was a surprise. Overall will comeback.

We had a great time, the rooms were great but the floors were very slippery when wet, like more than a usual tile. Loved the variety at the buffet, only negative about it was that i do wish at least the main buffet was air conditioned.

I would rate my stay at Viva Azteca as mediocre. I have stayed at resorts that were nicer, although our stay at Viva Azteca was decent. My biggest problem was the lack of restaurants

It has an old Playa del Carmen vibe. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The food was great, wonderful coffee and always had options for delicious fresh food.

Great resort

Travelled here with my partner, it was a very chill resort with lots of families. Definitely not a big party spot, but that was good for us. Everything was nice and clean, our power went out one day and they fixed it quickly. Our only issue was the food, we didn’t have high expectations going in as all inclusive food is hit or miss but we were still disappointed.

Good AND clean. Good could be better. Restaurant schedules were not the Best.
