Little Inn By The Bay Newport Beach Hotel

It was very noisy at night very hard for me to sleep. Heard everything outside. Air condition wasn’t working very properly in room number 11.

Great spot and great location. Small, so there weren’t always people at the front desk but there was a note and phone number. Comfortable room, bed and bathroom. I would say that it would be good to have coffee in the room based on number of days because we didn’t have our room cleaned (that was fine for us) so we didn’t get the coffee restocked.

Loved the place. Walking distance form great restaurants. Was here for work but enjoyed my evening dinners.

Excellent location to the beach. Room was clean. My only complaint was the noise level at night due to traffic on both sides of the hotel.

The best part about this property is it is within a few blocks from the beach. The bed was comfortable. The coffee maker worked and the mini fridge too. The value was fair.

The person checking in was not very friendly or welcoming, almost seemed annoyed to have to work. The person cleaning the room expressed that the room was not supposed to rented and so they were finishing up cleaning it. The bathtub had some rust in the jets for the jacuzzi tube-I did not even try to get it to work. The room was next to a loud ice maker so all night the compressor was running the hotel is been 2 busy streets so there was so much noise between pedestrians walking by and the screeching of tires and humans- it was a terrible place to try to sleep and I am a heavy sleeper usually. The door has frosted glass on the top so the bright light from outside shines bright all night. I recommend changing that door in room 14 and adding some kind of noise cancelling installation.

The location of this hotel is what makes it all worth it! Easy 3 min walk to the beach and close walks to bars and restaurants. However, the walls are PAPER thin and you can hear absolutely everything. We stayed on the first floor and felt like we were staying underneath professional tap dancers from the second floor. So loud. Also, if you stay on the first floor there is no privacy so don’t even think about opening up your windows. I would stay here again but would choose second floor or even the ones with the cute patios.

The property was convenient. The TV wasn’t working for some reason. Otherwise, I like the accessibility to the beach and restaurants nearby.
