Homewood Suites by Hilton Indianapolis Downtown

Great Hotel. I arrived on 12/2 at around 6pm local time, and was unsure of where to park and the staff was able to do valet parking which was a bonus and they were friendly and nice. The staff here are awesome. The lobby is very nice and clean and has that infused water which is great. The hotel itself is in a great location, walking distance to the convention center, and Lucas Oil Stadium and Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The hotel facility is very nice and arranged well. The Rooms are clean and nice. The hotel has free breakfast which is really good here. Walking distance to Steak n Shake and The Old Spaghetti Factory. The Hotel is very secure and there was a security guard nearby or at least I thought he was a security guard but the hotel is secure. The hotel is quiet at night mostly. They have an indoor pool which is heated which I think is a great addition. They also have a pretty good fitness center. Overall this is a very nice hotel with good prices, and very friendly staff.

I would have given a 5 but after staying for a week I decided was going to stay longer, I called front desk made arrangements, I was told $169.00 a night. The next day received a call asking if I was ok with the charges. I looked and was charged way more than quoted. She said well we had to increase due to availability. Increase to $400. a night? So beware of events when staying here during events!!

Ari and her staff went overboard to help us with some difficult circumstances resulting in the need to them to get our car from a parking garage and arrange for a late checkout. Very much appreciated!
