No hot water, breakfast average

Bed was comfortable. Climate control unit worked well, Complimentary breakfast was as expected.

Room carpeting was very dirty. My wife pointed out that the bottoms of my feet were dirty when putting on my socks after showering. Room was supposed to accommodate a handicapped individual but came woefully short. There were no grab bars in the shower / tub and the tub become dangerously slippery when contacted with water. During the complimentary breakfast I pointed out to the attendant that both the sugar free and regular waffle syrup containers were empty. These should have checked and filled prior to opening the dining facility. Hot breakfast foods were barely warm enough to eat.

The location was convenient. The beds were comfortable. The staff was mostly nice.

The breakfast was mediocre. One of our rooms was fairly clean. One had hair in the bathroom and smelled moldy. The first floor hallway smelled moldy. The pool was closed. Our rooms received new towels but were not cleaned nor beds made during our three night stay.

Breakfast

Noisy Hallway after 10pm. TV would not work, and when the maintenance man came to fix he was very rude. So no TV. Pillows were to hard, and air conditioner was off by many degrees.

The room was very nice, very clean.

The rest room off the lobby needed to be cleaned. Also, the carpet in the hall looks very worn. Might just be the pattern

We stay at this motel alot. Staff is very friendly, rooms are nice, beds comfortable and rooms are clean. The only thing I could recommend are to have some grab bars for getting out of the tubs since the tubs are high for short people or seniors. Location to eating places and downtown Staunton is excellent.
