Best Western Ocala Park Centre

Location, price, good breakfast and cofee

Floor was dirty at arrival, some bugs in bathroom and one front desk staff was rude Saturday night.

Right next to Cracker Barrel.

Had to wait outside of our room while the fridge was being changed on arrival since they gave us a room they were still working on.

The staff was so helpful and polite!

Our room had an odor to it. Maybe like wet pet smell or something of that nature. I will say the staff did come in and spray, however, it did wear off and was back later that night. I appreciate the effort! Maybe cleaning the carpet of that room, would be beneficial?!

A lot of people complain about it, but I don't mind staying right off the highway.. I been having easy access to come and go, is a bonus.. I've been coming to Ocala to visit family for 6 Plus years, and this is the first time we've stayed at the Best Western.. It will NOT be the last.. My kids enjoyed this hotel SO much.. I think they probably spent more time in the pool than we did in the hotel (we were there a week).. The hot tub ( although small) was also a big hit.. There were lots of things to do outside besides using the pool.. They were yard games including cornhole, and a fire pit where my kids and I roasted marshmallows (ofc we cleaned up after ourselves).. The beds are super comfy, and (although the bathroom is on the smaller side) i like having the counter split with the sink on the outside, so more than one person can get ready at a time.. The breakfast was my kids second favorite part LOL.. The girl that was doing the breakfast during our stay (Columbian with a longer braid) was amazing and super sweet with my kids.. Not only was the food delicious, but her help was so appreciated.. There we're so many breakfast options, and even though the breakfast is eaten in like a pool house, you can smell those potatoes in the elevator.. Also SUPER RANDOM but the iced lemon water in the lobby is delicious and super refreshing!!

Some of the company that was hanging out in the parking lot after dark and around the pool could be questionable at times, but nobody ever bothered us.. Please get bigger pool towels.. 🤣

Service & location was great! I didn't eat breakfast.

An elderly patron had fallen and seemed in distress and I alerted staff but they were reluctant to get involved. I'm not sure why; the elderly lady clearly needed some medical attention-- she had a knot & bruise on her forehead and complained her arm was hurting. I would hope staff be better trained to help anyone in distress at or on your property.

Got in late and really didn't see much of the hotel. Breakfast was decent.
