"Great location, big rooms, comfy bed."

The room was a good size, the bed clean crisp sheets & comfy, very handy to Gare Centrale

Unfortunately we were put in a room which had a cracked toilet bowl, when I told the reception the lady didn’t want to know, the hotel wasn’t full so didn’t need to use that room. Chipped paint around the doors. Some of the reception staff were arrogant.

Läget

De meddelar två dagar efter vistelsen att vi kan checka in när vi kommer, det är inte skickligt. Till frukost var det bra mat men det är inte okej att ha en trasig kaffemaskin som det inte står något på, så man försöker ta kaffe och känner sig som en idiot när det inte fungerar. Personalen kändes inte så engagerad.

"Good location, but the hotel is not very charming."

The location is great - being close to the central station has its perks, and we could easily walk to our hotel from the city center. There were several easy train connections.

The hostel looks quite old - given that it is a Mercure hotel, I expected it to be a bit more fancy and well taken care of. The hotel felt like it did not age well.

"Perfekte Lage für Bahnreisen"

Lage direkt am HBF. Ruhig. Alt. Gutes Frühstück.

In einem Guten Hotel direkt an der deutschen Grenze, wurde mir mein Französisch verbessert ( das habe ich noch nie erlebt) . Deutsch verneint. Englisch schwierig.Der late Check out, wurde mir am Abend angeboten gegen Aufpreis, am nächsten Morgen war es unfreunflich nicht( nie) möglich.
