Time to time you can hear tran sound. But hotel provides ear buds for light sleepers

This is an old roadside motel, recently renovated. But it still remains a roadside motel. Close to Interstate 80, so you hear all the traffic. Close to the busy Sacramento-Oakland rail line, so you hear the train horns. The room typical for a downscale motel. The vintage-type AC makes such noise that you cannot talk, let alone sleep. I admit I was taken in by the "Ascend Collection" designation. This is just a marketing trick, so be aware. We prepaid the room for one night but left two hours after check in without staying overnight. And it's not cheap!
