"Workable"

The room was a nice design and had a clever layout. The bed was comfortable, plenty of lighting and mirrors, phone chargers, responsive thermostat. Excellent shower pressure and temperature.

First room smelled like cigarette smoke, the staff was kind enough to move us. Second room smelled like incense, better than cigarettes but still rough to deal with. Could hear room neighbors and hallway noise. Bathroom had two shelves, and one was just not clean, had not been wiped in a while, it was collecting debris, maybe from vibrations of their renovations. But they are renovating so that's neat.

Our tv picture was broken so we couldn’t watch tv and also our smoke detector was covered up with a plastic bag for some reason

"The experience"

Seems like a newer hotel. Location is great if you’re a shopper or like a variety of food. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Very inconvenient to get to downtown Pittsburgh. It seems like no matter what time you travel, there’s a lot of traffic on that highway so allow yourself extra time (roughly 45 to 60 minutes, possibly longer between 6am to 8pm in both directions) if you plan on going into downtown Pittsburgh area. Rooms are very clean thanks to the housekeeping department! Value for the price 4.5 out of 5. Front desk very welcoming and accommodating! I guess the walls in this hotel are very well insulated. I barely heard any noises from either side of my room. The space between room above thought needs more noise barrier. I believe most of the hotel staff are local residents of the area because they can tell you the location of just about anything you want to know, especially restaurants and shopping!

I liked the location. Very close to shops and restaurants.

The cleanliness could’ve been better. Spots around the toilet and bathtub. Also some of the towels had stains.
