Rosedale Hotel and Suites Guangzhou

Lil bit old hotel,but location is very good,mrt just outside,many foods beside and convenient store just in front this hotel,breakfast just so so.overal not bad

Overall, it is ok, but the room and the beds are small.

I good place for a city stay, nice pool, spa etc. comfortable to travel to different sights in the city.

The Rosedale was pleasant surprise in my first trip to China. The staff was always pleasant to deal with and spoke enough English to meet my needs. Although I had reserved a non smoking room there were only smoking rooms available. Overall cleanliness was ok. I appreciated that there was 110 voltage available so I didn't have to use a converter on my trip. The breakfast buffet was great, lots of choices and a good mixture of eastern and western foods available. Although there was a pool and fitness facility available I never was able to locate them. The signed leading to them took me around blocked off stairwells and dead ends. Overall I was very satisfied with my stay and would stay there again.

Super convenient location. Close to subway Changgang. Two stops from Zhong Da, a few stops from Panyu, and to the airport in less than an hour. Don't pay too much as it's not four star level, but when I booked I got a good price quality comparison. It's worth about 400/night, don't pay more than that. For that price level you will have no regrets.

For business stay in a hotel, what are most essentials criteria, ROSEDALE meets all for me when I come to Guangzhou. 1. Clean rooms, bed, good bathroom/toilet, AC, Electric kettle for Tea, Iron..etc: ROSEDALE meets my need very well. 2. Location: Excellent: Right next to METRO. Also you have plenty of low, average, high quality restaurants meeting all budgets. You have 7-11 store just outside. So, ROSEDALE meets my needs well. 3. Distance from airport: Perfect, and one can get a Taxi. 4. INTERNET & Office facility in room: Great Internet service, and excellent table/chair to work. Hence ROSEDALE meets my need for Business travel. 5. Staff: excellent 6. Food : excellent 7. Money exchange machine & ATM in the Lobby. - Great convenience. I am happy to come back to ROSEDALE, it was my third year in to ROSEDALE at Guangzhou.

Good location with entry to Metro right in front of the Hotel and just a few stations to the Trade Fair at Pazhou. Like the neighbourhood but the Hotel is getting a little tired. Room could have been cleaner. The breakfast was fine but buffet dinner was not.

This is my 4th visit to Guangzhou, and I am very happy with the Rosedale hotel. I have a trip to China to visit my family, and my wife has some family members in Guangzhou, so we stayed there for 4 nights. We are 2 adults with a 4 years old boy. I can speak Chinese, so the language of the staffs is not a problem to us. I booked a King size bed suite, and also added an extra bed (CNY$200 per night). The suite is actually 2 rooms with 1 used as bedroom and 1 used as living room with a bathroom on each side. The extra bed is added at the living room, so I kicked my son to sleep there. The CNY$200 is very worth, my wife and I can have some privacy, and my little boy won't be scared. The room cleaniness is good, but the condition of the room is definitely aged and old, but I am happy with the price I paid. The part I like the best is the convenience of this hotel. The subway station is right outside of the hotel. There is a McDonald and 7-Eleven in the hotel. On the 2nd floor of the hotel, there is a very good spicy food restaurant and a foot massage place I visited. Right outside of the hotel, there is a good noodle store next door, and many different local shopping stores and restaurants. After Guangzhou, we are going to Hong Kong, the hotel has free car (Camry) to drive us to the Guangzhou East Train station. The hotel also has bus to go to Hong Kong and Macau. (The train fits our trip better.)
