Carnegie House

The room was very clean and comfortable, which is important to us. The property was so inviting with sitting areas decorated for Christmas and comfortable chairs and a fire burning in the fireplace. Everything was beautiful.

There was not one single thing we could name that we didn’t like.

The hotel is maybe the nicest hotel in the area… it is cute but the staff is unqualified in customer service for a nice hotel and they are running with a skeleton crew (just one person in the evening).

The room was not cleaned properly. I let the person at the front seat know that the surfaces were covered in dust and that closet shelves were covered in dust and HAIR (yuk!!!!) The second day of our stay our room was not cleaned and the beds not made. The housekeeper skipped our room!!! When I let the front desk know, the man at the desk told me that the housekeepers left and he was the only one there. It was only 6pm. He had no idea why housekeeping would skip our room. And seemed annoyed that I was unhappy. He DID go himself to empty our trash bins and add extra towels. But honestly, when you stay in a hotel, especially one that claims to be a luxury boutique hotel, you expect that the beds will be made and the room will be freshened up!

Everything was beautiful and the room felt so nice to relax. The bathroom was very impressive, I will definitely stay here again. I saved your location.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I truly loved the design – everything is beautifully arranged and very comfortable. The bed and the room were extremely cozy, which made my stay very relaxing. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and delicious food. The staff was very kind, friendly, and helpful at all times. This hotel is absolutely worth it and I would definitely recommend it! I would happily return anytime ! The reception is non stop , I couldn’t find this detail before making the reservation.
