Bed was lumpy Housekeeping Didnt Sweep Floor No Bath Mat

Convenient location. “Dog friendly”.

Staff at dog friendly facility did not like and were “afraid” of dogs. Room was not cleaned well. Dirty bathroom sink (makeup, toothpaste, whiskers) & soap buildup on sink counter; toilet (hair, dust on toilet tank & seat & base; feces on handle); shower (mold, soap buildup in soap dish; hair & weeds growing in drain; black mold bits built up on shower head); microwave (dirty & smelled of burnt popcorn); layer of dust (in side opening) of night stands. In room telephone not plugged in (cord was plugged into wall, but detached from phone and stuck under the bed frame). Remote for tv was not working. Employee came to room and asked me to come into the hallway (for her comfort). How can you fix the tv remote/ check the tv from the hallway? Finally came in but was so frightened of my very calm dogs, it also made me uncomfortable. Wanted to swim, but after seeing the cleanliness standard for the rooms, decided against it. One of the two lounge chairs was torn up and unusable. When I told the cleaning ladies that the room was dirty, they didn’t want to know what was dirty. I told the manager, Peter, His response was “why didn’t you tell me I could’ve put you in a new room “my response was I had driven for eight hours, at the end of the night when I came in at 10pm, I just wanted to go to bed. Also, what is the point of putting me in a new room when the standard of cleanliness is not up to par… My belief is that the new room would’ve been just as dirty as the current Room. And after driving all day, I don’t wanna be bothered with the hassle.

We liked that the property was right off the Interstate. There were several dining options within a quarter of a mile. What we didn’t like was that the room smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes in it and that the smoke detector was covered over in a plastic bag. After our first night, our room keys failed to open the outer and room doors. We had to go back around to the main entrance and have our room keys reinitiated. Finally, it was difficult to understand the desk clerks as their English had a foreign accent and we had to ask our questions repeatedly.

Smells like cigarette smoke even in non smoking room. Sheets had cigarette burns, pillows were yellow, and the mattresses were stained beyond belief. Entire hotel looks as if it had never been cleaned. There was also mold on the ceiling of the bathroom and the safety look on the door was broke off. Plan ahead and book a better hotel before others run out of availability or just keep driving.

The room was dirty

Wi-Fi had no signal, the door was broken and could not lock. Only one light worked in the room.

The outside seems ok surrounded by other nice hotels.

Beyond nasty. Hair on the floor fridge wasn’t clean dirty sheets curtains barely up. Just plain awful. I would not let me dog sleep there.

Staff very cordial. Room was outstanding. Easy in and off by freeway.
