SureStay Hotel by Best Western Columbus Downtown

The pancakes were a novelty I hadn't seen before for breakfast, they were the high point. The bed was comfortable. The staff were pleasant and made up for many of the issues the hotel itself had.

The hotel has seen better days, chipped paint in the bathrooms and a bedframe that was bent that caused the bed to wobble until paper was put under one leg.

I didn't like any of this motel

The pictures were very misleading. The room stink of marijuana and sewage. The smoke detector was on the floor. There were bloody boogers on the bathroom wall. The 2 outlets the place had were caked in paint. When you closed the door you could still see outside around the frame. We check in just after 3pm and checked right back out by 6pm and stayed at another hotel. SureStay declined to refund any of my money. That place should not be in business

Room was clean and the front desk staff friendly. Parking in front of the room made packing/unpacking easy.

The bathroom showed signs of age. They need to update the area around the tub.

Only spent one night here as part of a road trip. The room was clean and more than suitable for our needs. Check in was simple

Room door was hard to close . We booked a non smoking room due to having kids . My husband and I sat in the outside area to smoke . The front desk person was also out there smoking his vape . When it was time to check out it was smooth but the front desk person called me about 2 hours later after check out stating that we were smoking in the room . Mind you he saw that we were smoking outside and again we had our children with us and we absolutely do not smoke in front of them . Front desk person then proceeded to say that his manager will call me back . I never received a call back nor did I receive my $60 deposit back . And I end fact know there was not any smoking in the room

You get what you pay for. Very old hotel that has been somewhat modernized. Our room had a damaged loose electrical socket that's very dangerous. It had outlet that did not work. It has an old tub that has been painted and some pieces have fallen off. Nothing seriously wrong with the place but we would not stay there again

We were there for one night and it wasn’t bad for a “cheap” hotel! It’s an old hotel and it shows but it’s clean and the service is good!!
