Residences at International Place

The room was nice. Bed was super comfortable. And I liked the kitchen in the room even though I didn't utilize it. Great price compared to other hotels.

I didn't like that we could hear the people in the room next door to me. I also would have liked so sort of breakfast.

Missed blank because was three people and we only have sheet and blank for two, we called the responsible but they gave no attention.

It was easy and convenient.

Everything was clean and great...Only issue was the light fixture in the kitchen area was hanging by the wires.

We had previously stayed at this hotel and really enjoyed it—especially the separate bedrooms, which worked great for our family. Because of that positive experience, we booked the same hotel again over six months in advance, even though it’s a bit outside of Boston. Just six days before our trip, I received a call from the hotel saying our room was no longer available. They offered to move us to a different location even farther from the city, which didn’t work for our plans. When I asked why the room we booked was suddenly unavailable, the manager told me it was because they had someone who wanted it for a longer-term stay. In other words, they bumped us—despite our long-standing reservation—because someone else was staying longer. We were forced to cancel and book a different hotel last-minute, which ended up costing us nearly double the price. The hotel made no effort to make it right or compensate us in any way. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I would not recommend booking here unless you’re okay with your reservation being pushed aside for someone more “profitable.” Definitely not the way to treat returning guests.

I went to check in and the key was never put in the lockbox. When I spoke to the manager her response was vague and she seemed not to be concerned that I had to literally go in the back and get my key that was left on the front desk after the employee went home.

No room service (might have occurred if I asked). My pet peeve is the quality of the mattress. In this area, they failed. Lastly, a significant part of the hotel appeared to be filled with long term, low income people. I don't believe that they were immigrants, but a significant majority of them appeared to be cooling their heels 24-7.
