The Farrington Inn

Nothing. At most, the front desk staff was nice.

The place was extremely dirty. Remnants of chips on the carpets, dust, residue, blood stains, oil stains, and more all around our room and the shared bathroom. We called the manager to ask for a change in room, which he extended - but not without a load of attitude and scoffing. He practically told us this is what we should expect given the pricing. The place could be charming given the traditional style architecture - and is advertised as such in the photos - but could not be kept worse than it currently is. Not to mention that the area it is located in is sketchy and loud.

Staff was smoking weed on the porch and the windows were open during my first night so I was frozen until I realized that they were open

The check in and check out worked very well, the staff were very responsive, polite, and helpful. The location is good and well connected to Boston and Cambridge.

The facilities were in a suboptimal state, not very clean and not enough toilet paper. I can imagine the rooms will be cold in the winter time.
