Location, pricing, size of the room

Room was dingy, did see one roach, otherwise clean I think

The location was good- far enough outside of downtown that it was pretty quiet, but not far enough that it’s a chore to drive.

The Queen suite had a full bed, and multiple perks to the stay were fairly exaggerated - like the free (included in our stay) breakfast turning out to be “some granola bars and muffins” on a small counter across from the front desk. The room itself had a few visible patch jobs and some areas that actually needed repair (someone punched through to the drywall underneath the wall art, toilet seat was loose, kitchenette has some rust spots). The bed was incredibly hard with the cheapest pillows, but I was still able to sleep after a while. The biggest issue for me was the sound proofing… it’s nonexistent (we woke up to an argument from a couple down the opposite end of the hall). Overall, mostly minor issues that probably could have likely been mostly fixed if we were staying more than a night and I was proactive. Not an uncomfortable stay, but not quite a comforting one.

Overall the experience was OK, will I stay here again, No. The floor for the "kitchen" area was extremely sticky. The was a very odd smell to the room. Not sure if it was a smokey smell, mildew moldy smell but it was unpleasant when you walked in. The smoke detected had been duct taped to the ceiling which had since fell and was dangling. I asked the front staff if there was an ice machine available and was instructed that I could probably get some at a nearby Walgreens 😄 the grab and ho breakfast done got up and went. The first day there was no coffee out or multigrain bars or nothing. Second day, check out day same time, there was coffee and about 5 nutrigrain bars in a basket didnt take any nor drink the coffee so no opinion on that.

Location

The rooms smelled very bad and they don’t provide extra towels, shampoo, etc. basic things are not provided. The “free breakfast” they claim is non existent. I went one morning and there was nothing. The next morning I had to ask them about it and they gave me a muffin. Overall would not stay here again at all. The kitchen in the room was very old and only one stove top worked.

Location

First impression; door to Lobby entrance was hanging off the hinges and propped open with a cinder block. At check-in I was given a key to a room that hotel workers were hanging out in. I had to be assigned another room. Side security door to guest room hallway was propped open for anyone to come in and out. Mattress on bed was awful to include ill fitting linen that did not stay on the bed during the night. Maintenance tried to force their way into the room at 1:30am "to see if the room was occupied!" ????
