Good hotel , within walking distance from the main railway station and very near Cologne Cathedral . Easy to go around and lots of restaurant around . The hotel provide very good breakfast, most likely the best breakfast for my Europe trip . But hotel staff not that welcoming compare to other's hotel staff ...

"2 nights in Cologne 1st-3rd December"

We came for the Christmas markets and were not disappointed. Make sure you have spare room in your case for all the goodies that you can buy. The hotel was well located for the closest markets and the impressive Cathedral. Visit the chocolate museum if you have time.

Nice hotel. Just remember there is another hotel with a similar name called "REsidenz" or something like that just around the corner. A lot of people mistake the two. We were only there for the night. Close to train station (Koln HBF) and the Dom. Plenty of places to eat all around. Staff is very friendly.

Close to station and cathedral, good location for city and its attractions. Clean and comfortable in most respects but the room was very warm and the air conditioning is not very efficient- I thought it wasn't working as after being on for 1 hour the temperature had risen from 23.5 to 24 degrees, I was told that it would only lower the temperature to 22.5 degrees and I would need to wait longer and they recommended opening the window but because it is a city location it meant that it was rather noisy until the early hours.

This hotel was very comfortable,in a good position,with easy access to transport and tourist hotspots. We really enjoyed the food. The breakfast range was great and the staff were friendly and accommodating.Our evening meals were very delicious.
