It is your typical 3 star hotel. Nothing fancy but a pleasant atmosphere and the desk clerk was very nice. Room was clean, free breakfast was good

I think for the price it was a fair deal

First thing there was only 1 cart for the whole hotel. Then they sent us to a room that someone else was clearly living in. Then we had to move all our stuff to a different room. Our TV was not working, only had a political channel that was working!!!! The worker could not fix the TV & said that he would "find someone" After over an hour no one had come to our room. Finally he came back after we asked him, to try again.He suggested moving to a different room AGAIN!!!!!! He said it was his 1st day on the job. We also had to ask for a roll out bed that just barely fit in the room. Had to put the foot stool into the chair to make room for the bed. In the morning when we were going to check out the guy was sitting on a chair in front entry way. He said we were all done!!!! I HAD to ask for my receipt Will never stay there again, ever.

Older property but could be a little bit cleaner

It was in a good location and it seemed clean from the way the lobby looked

The room was filthy and the air conditioner was not working let alone full of mold that got my 9 month old sick. The bedding was dirty and seem to have blood on them. was not a good stay.

Over priced for the level of service. Not a lot of local choice, but I would give this one a pass. Water went out, and when it came back, it was brown and very dirty. Accidents happen, but no effort to try and make things right by the customer. There was dirty laundry in the closet, and a musky smell to the room. I've stayed in town a dozen or more times in the last years, and have tried all of the alternatives. Stick with the pricier options.

In years past, we have stayed in this hotel. Many times we have chosen this hotel because we travel with our dogs.

Now the pet fee is $30 per pet per night. So we went to a funeral and spent 120 bucks just to have dogs. The room was musty, and the carpet was duct taped, in the doorway, the door did not shut properly. This hotel used to be a good deal. And now it was almost 400 bucks for 2 nights. After the pet fee.

This is a small town and I'm sure the Ragbrai crowd was not the normal occupancy for this location, but the check-in person was not welcoming or friendly. Went to the room and used the restroom and then went to dry my hands on a towel, and there was what appeared to be a TURD stuck to the supposedly "unused" towel. I carried it to the front and requested clean towel but she really didn't even offer much of an apology. Later on while showering, I noticed that a dirty, used washrag was hanging from the shower curtain.

The motel was clean and easily accessible from the highway. Number of entries to building were convenient. Parking was sufficient and convenient.

I thought the breakfast was OK but very limited. Standard cereal choices, waffles and bread choices. Only offered sausage on the three mornings with addition of egg patties one day. I believe a potato choice with biscuits and gravy would have been more appropriate for the price of the room. Choices offered were pretty consistent with the low end of cutrate motels.

Very nice staff. Hallways smelled like old cigarettes. Room smelled musty. Phone and underside of toilet was uncleaned. Towels were supet thin. Beds were great. AC was good.
