I wish I could say that I was satisfied with the room and, in particular, with the reception service and the accuracy of the information provided at check-in. Unfortunately, that would not be true. For a hotel that invests heavily in advertising and consistently appears among the top recommendations, the overall guest experience was disappointing and far below expectations. The room rate is not the issue—we knowingly accept premium prices when booking a property that presents itself as a high-quality hotel. The problem is that the service and facilities simply do not justify those prices. There was no information in the room regarding breakfast hours or location, no guest information folder, no clock, and very little attention to the basic details that guests expect. The bathroom was extremely small for two people, and cleanliness was not particularly impressive. To make matters worse, we found dead ants in the room. The so-called “Luxury Room” we booked looked nothing like the photographs shown online. The balcony contained only two basic metal chairs without cushions, and the room directly faced other rooms, making it almost impossible to open the curtains without sacrificing privacy. The minibar contained only two bottles of water and two beers. There was no minibar inventory list and no pricing information. Even the water was not replenished during our stay. Despite this, we were charged for the water we consumed. Additionally, after a four-night stay, we were billed for parking as if it had been used throughout the entire stay, even though we only used it twice. We arrived late at night and my wife was unwell, so we chose not to argue or request a room change. Looking back, that was a mistake. To be fair, there was one bright spot: the lady managing the breakfast area was exceptional. She was professional, attentive, solution-oriented, and provided the level of service that one would expect throughout the hotel. Unfortunately, one excellent employee cannot compensate for the overall shortcomings of the property. This is not a hotel I would choose to stay at again, and I would strongly recommend that future guests insist on seeing the exact room before completing their booking. Very disappointing experience.

Wir kennen schon das Hotel,excellent gelegen,schöne Zimmer und konfortable Einrichtung.

Daß das Zimmer,welches nun wirklich nicht zur günstigeren Kategorie gehört nicht früher bezugsbereit war. Ich hatte das per Mail angekündigt und da wir auf eine Hochzeit eingeladen waren,hätte man diesen Umstand berücksichtigen sollen. Ausserdem hatte man uns versprochen uns eine Mail zu schicken,ab welchem Zeitpunkt das Zimmer fertig ist. Das ist auch nicht erfolgt….für ein 5Sternehaus eine schwache Leistung.

Die Lage

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. Das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Die Betten waren bequem; im Schrank waren genügend Kleiderbügel, das Zimmer war geräumig. Das Essen im Hotelrestraurant "Theaterkeller" war ausgezeichnet.

Ich habe meinem Mann (84 Jahre alt) empfohlen, besser nicht zu duschen, da die Badewanne nicht gerade war, sondern zum Ein- und Ausstieg hin an- bzw. abstieg. Ich hatte wirklich Angst, dass er ausrutschen könnte. Das ist ein Punkt, den ich als Verantwortliche des Hotels überprüfen würde. Wir blieben nur eine Nacht, da geht Katzenwäsche schon mal. Bei längerem Aufenthalt wäre diese Möglichkeit zu duschen subobtimal bis unmöglich für Personen, die schon älter sind. Das ist gerne als Anregung zu sehen und nicht als Kritik. Wir hatten ein eher günstiges Zimmer und können uns wirklich nicht beschweren.

Super tolle Lage und ein schönes Hotel mit gutem Spa-Bereich.

Leider hat die Klimaanlage in unserem Zimmer nicht richtig funktioniert (gekühlt) und wir konnten erst nach der zweiten Nacht das Zimmer wechseln.

Alles, was man von einem sehr guten Hotel erwartet. Ruhe, Komfort, exzellentes Frühstück in stilvoller Atmosphäre, dezente Aufmerksamkeit, ungespielte Freundlichkeit.

Nichts.
