The bed was fine, the refrigerator useful. The room was quiet, overlooking the station. The location near to the Hauptbahnhof could not be better as regards convenience of travelling, but . .

. . there were many smokers congregating directly outside, despite large signs forbidding smoking. The room was not smelly, but in the corridors, there was a stale smoke smell. Very unpleasant. The room was rather spartan, there was no kettle. One of the curtains had tears in it. Despite the electrical points having been renovated, it still felt like the 1980s. The price I paid - €80 - was way too much for what was offered. There were small bottles of mineral water 'free', but they weren't placed in the refrigerator!!
