Econo Lodge

We had a very nice stay. Was in town for high school graduation so it was perfect for our needs. The breakfast was adequate and the hotel is centrally located so it was easy to walk or drive to locations. My negative take aways were one the hallways were a bit dim so it made it hard to see the keypad entry into the room especially at night and two there were not enough electrical outlets that worked in the room.

Nice and clean room. Older facility but kept up. Parking can be a challenge for full size pickup. Great restaurant next door

Don’t be afraid of the poor reviews, this coming from someone who has stayed at several high end hotels. You already have accepted a step below your higher standard but don’t want to break the bank on the trip. We had a CLEAN bed, CLEAN floors, fridge and microwave!! For the money, safe and well worth it! An added bonus if you have inside dogs (we didn’t), all dogs are welcome!!! Very unexpectedly pleased. I even paid extra to our 2nd night just in case we wanted to cancel and pay for a $300 room for night two.

Convenient location for outdoor adventures!

Exterior of the place was unkept. The interior is old and the first floor had a bad smell like sewer venting. The person at the front desk was not very welcoming and slightly rude. I do not think I would stay here again.

My stay at high desert has good.

When I arrived the lobby attendant said their computer showed Insufficient funds for their transaction from Expedia. I used my app to show them the paid in full receipt. I also had my bank app that showed it paid in full. This is the first time I had this happen. Not sure what is happening there, but they let me stay because of receipts. Might want to check into that.
