Hotel Riu Bambu - All Inclusive

We will definitely be returning. Great resort, entertainment & good selection of food. My family & I enjoyed it.

The whole experience was great! Will be back! We don’t have any negative things to say about the whole trip, excursion, and accommodations.

Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere! You have been warned.. do not make the same mistake that we did. My stay was booked for a family of FOUR for 12/22/25 thru 12/25/25. Room # was 5214. We stayed ONE night 12/22/25 and checked out voluntarily on 12/23/25. This place is absolutely horrid. Stains on the bed. Rust and mold and broken sink, shower drain, hooks. TV didn’t work. A/C didn’t work. Fridge did not have ANYTHING in it stocked and would not stay cold. Provided TWO shower towels for a family of FOUR. Requested towels MULTIPLE times and never received them. Pool towels were NEVER available. Please see attached pictures of how disgusting our room was. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE — RIU should be ashamed to be charging what they charge for this resort. Outdated. Moldy. Disgusting.

Awful Awful do not book Do not go to this old unsanitary hotel. Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was far below expectations. I observed cockroaches near the buffet area, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. The rooms are outdated, with small double beds, minimal air conditioning, and uncomfortable bedding. We were forced to change rooms due to a broken safe. The bathroom had a strong odor, and the towels were old, stained, and discolored, with no washcloths provided. Communication was also an issue, as the front desk frequently did not answer the phone. The hotel appeared unsanitary overall, and the lobby was heavily infested with flies. The entertainment offerings were basic and unengaging. Additionally, we booked a tour with Nexus at the hotel and were extremely disappointed, as the experience did not match what was promised. Constant interruptions from beach vendors further added to the frustration. This experience made for an extremely unpleasant vacation, and it was the worst trip I have ever taken.

Hotel was overall not a bad place. Just some amenities such as mini bar refills and electrical outlets were sparse. TV only played Spanish but staff were pleasant, food choices were good and had a wide variety of entertainment for everyone

Stayed here for 2 weeks commencing 24th November we nearly cancelled because of the awful reviews we are so glad we didn't room was spotless cleaned every day food was really good how people can say the buffet is repeatative really you could stay here for 3 months and have something different every day as for the bar staff being unfriendly we booked with Tui and spent most of the time at the Tui pool staff were really friendly and Ramon was great we enjoyed it so much we have booked to return same time next year we can't wait

Very basic hotel more of a 3* than anything more. Clean enough. Rooms are VERY dated lots of bits falling apart. Food was good and lots of choice. The staff are what make the hotel, they are all so friendly and accommodating.

Nice hotel beautiful location on the beach. Staff were great for service mostly friendly and helped when needed. Food was nice had a great selection each day but a little repetitive but there is restaurants to use and the steak house was nice if you can get seated. Drinks were good lovely selection and not shy on how much they put in them. Rooms were clean and spacious cleaned when required with a mini bar stocked each 2 days of pop and beer,water. Entertainment wasn't great not much for the kids about 20 minutes at 8pm then mostly just dancers or solo singers performing not worth the watch to be honest. Pools were nice TUI has a private guest area we used often with a bar tiles were missing around the pool but nothing worth complaining about it was tidy and clean. Not a 4* hotel in our opinion but there are better ones next door you could stay with and better perks.

Friendly staff Issues always resolved quickly As with any AI food a bit hit or miss but even the fussiest person won’t starve Pool area should be cleaned every night but wasn’t, cigarette butts lying around and cigars. At one point there was a dirty nappy left on a lounger! But this is down to entitled guests, doesn’t take much to clean up after yourself! My room was basic but clean. Beds super comfy!
