Très mauvaise expérience, bâtiment vétuste humidité dans la chambre sensation d'être dans une cellule de prison.

Myself my son and girlfriend were looking for somewhere to stay near Dijon for one night while we awaited our train the following day. True, the Hotel Stars was cheap, but we rolled into the car park and were immediately greeted by a group of unsavoury characters. Having checked-in we went up to the rooms. One glance down the hall set the tone for the place broken door locks and handles, peeling paint etc. The room my son was to stay in smelt very smokey, despite being a non - smoking room. The beds were very low and the mattresses tired, but the linen was clean. We decided to forfeit the cost and stayed at the Kyrdian in Dijon instead. Which was gorgeous.

We found this hotel clean and good for the price. It was quite far from the downtown and there were no restaurants open and within walking distance.

We have stayed in numerous hotels in and around the dijon area and this hotel suits our purpose to a tee. Our needs are for a clean and comfy place to act as a stop over hotel and this place meets the bill. I have read other reports which denounce the place but I really can not understand these people. If they want a 5 or 6 star place to stop then go and pay for the 5 or 6 star prices. We like the clean rooms and the beds are comfy albeit a little small. but generally it suits us.

A dirty hotel in the middle of nowhere.. Funky smelling room (smelled of urin) Sticky carpet floors... Really moldy bathroom... A toilet that almost didnt flush... with a door that did not open or close very easily! Breakfast was bad... oh... badbadbad... It sounded even worse during the night... you can hear everything that happens in all the rooms during the night.... And boy was something happening in the other rooms... was glad to leave the next morning!

Arriving in Dijon at 7pm we found a map to direct us to jean moulin rue. We took a tram out to the east of the city. Upon arriving on the road there was no Hotel stars and no one locally had heard of it! We phoned the hotel, we were at 'the other jean moulin road.' We were directed to the south of the city to a small town called Chenove, about a 40minute tram ride from Dijon Gare. Getting off the tram it was a 30min+ walk though industrial estates to the hotel. When we finally arrived at 10.05, the lights were off and front door locked! We phoned the out of hours number and were eventually let in. Pokey little room with tiny beds, no door on the shower, just a curtain. No breakfast included! Would not recommend staying here, even if it is cheaper.

It was fine for an overnight stop. Hotel looking a little tired.

What exactly would you expect for €41 euros? The ritz? Basic, clean and comfortable. We had a good night stay at a reasonable price. €10 more than the f1 but at least you've got the toilet in the room. Great restaurant called the molines blues 50 meters away. They are in partnership with the hotel so you get 15% off.
