CHN Hotel Monterrey Centro, Trademark by Wyndham

Fist of all when we arrived for check in there was only one receptionist checking in there was 3 people in front of us we waited 40 minutes to check in and get our room key’s. Elevator was dirty, rooms were not vacuumed. Bed sheets are old stained and have some type of smell. Shower head are broken, sink was clogged. Phone didn’t work. The microwave was also not working, and the remote needed new batteries took it to the front desk and never got it back. Was there for 3 nights. We paid extra for breakfast and the fist day was very disappointed. Food was grossed waited for ever for employees to stock. Pool was dirty and was not able to use it. Poor customer service. I DO NOT recommend this hotel. This is 3.5 star hotel, but seems like it should be 1 star and that’s only because of the location. Over all it was just a wast of money.

There's no elevator to the parking lot, so it eas difficult cause I was traveling with an elder that couldn't use the stairs, and upstairs there's no room to park

Mi esposo y yo siempre nos quedamos en est hotel y siempre estamos a gusto con nuestra estancia. Esta vez, nos toco en remodelacion y habia mucha gente fue dificil encontrar estacionamiento. Tmb fue difiicil tratar de parar el carro enfrente para bajar equipaje ya que estoy embarazada y tener que subir escaleras del estacionamiento es dificil. A veces era aun mas dificl con los elevadores que siempre iban llenos y optabamos por utilizar escaleras. Tmb nos toco la habitacion 112, el wifi no funcionaba bien, el aire del cuarto nunca enfrio bien, tronaba y hacia mucho ruido toda la noche. La taza del baño se movia mucho cuando uno se sentaba y la tapa no se quedaba arriba uno tenia que sostenerla. El cuarto muy limpio, pero si esos pequeños detalles del ruido del aire y el baño.

Old property whit a poor maintenance work!

The staff was wonderful, the breakfast buffet delicious. However the rooms where dark, the bed sheets old and stained. The carpet floor dirty. I have to say that it was not the cleaning lady’s fall’s. The poor lady’s barely had the cleaning supplies to clean the room. Not even a vacuum.

the staff is great, but the property is either going under maintenance or its horribly neglected. At our arrival to the room there were no towels and no amenities, the phone didnt work so we had to go down eleven floors to ask for them. in the bathroom the celing was peeling off, and the towel rack was about to fall off. the next morning the elevator wasn´t working, and we had to go down a floor to get on it. the room wasn´t clean the next day until after 2:30 pm.

The hotel is in a great location and has a restaurant with great service. However, it seems the hotel has not been maintained well. Our hotel phone did not dial out. The room was not very clean, the smell was dingy and stagnant. It had a great view but window was very dirty. We came from a very long trip and did not have the energy to get a different room. The staff are great though.

La avitacion no era la que ucieron en las fotos era otra que nada q ver.el sofa estaba todo manchado las sabanas rrotas las toallas rrotas el aire acondicionado no serbia el sink estaba tapado nunca lo lo arreglaron la alfombra esta sucia y aveces no salia agua calientelos sillones del lobby lla estan muy maltratados y asi los tienen ahi el agua de la alberca estaba sucia

I have stayed at this property before and it had always been great, but my last visit was the complete opposite. The room was dirty. It looked like it had not been vacuumed in years. There was a hole in the wall next to the A/C unit which kept letting out the cold air. It was uncomfortably hot when I returned to my room so I had to place a towel on the opening to keep the air from coming out. I came to this property expecting a nice and pleasant experience, but unfortunately, that was not the case this time around.
