NH Lecco Pontevecchio

Breakfast and the breakfast room was good. Location was fine. We liked the view of the Adda river out our window. the young woman at the front desk gave us tips on what to do in Lecco and we appreciated that.

There was no way to get from the ferry to the hotel without considerable effort - 3 calls to the hotel. The rooms seemed run down. The bathtub was very slippery, the bathtub wouldn’t drain without removing the drain cap. Chrome is wearing off the shower fixtures.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. The rooms felt more like a hostel than a 4-star hotel. The mattresses were uncomfortable, and our room faced a large construction site as well as a very busy road. Because of the constant noise, it was practically impossible to keep the windows open. The bathroom was poorly ventilated, stuffy, and had mold in several areas. In addition, there was an unpleasant and at times unbearable smell in the room throughout our stay. What disappointed us most was the hotel’s attitude toward our booking. We wanted to shorten our stay and check out early, but the hotel showed absolutely no flexibility. We were charged for all four nights despite leaving before the end of our reservation. The reception staff were also not particularly helpful and often came across as unfriendly. While the lakeside location is attractive, it does not make up for the numerous shortcomings. We would not stay here again and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

Zentral gelegen, nahe der Altstadt. Gutes Frühstück, angenehme Betten

Keine Läden auf der Sonnenseite, wir hatten keinen Balkon, Zimmer zu warm bei 31 Grad Aussentemperatur, Klimaanlage konnte weder selber eingeschaltet noch bedient werden, alles wurde zentral geregelt. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Preis eher zu hoch!
