Det låg nära tågstationen och stan. Även nära dit jag skulle. God frukost. Trevlig tjej i receptionen.

Tycker inte det lever upp till 4 stjärnor. 90-tals inredning och slitet. 8.20 kommer en städerska in och ska städa mitt rum. Hade ingen koll på att jag var kvar, utcheckning är 11.00. Under all kritik!

Friendly receptionist. I felt welcomed immediately. Arrived early but my room was available. It may be an older hotel, but is kept incredibly clean, and the lounge with a small library on each floor, makes it feel homely. Bed was super comfortable. I have stayed here a few times before and the rooms are spacious, not at all cramped. Quiet, even with traffic outside, I could not hear anything unless I opened the window. Bathroom is the same, and very clean. Basic toiletries, but enough. I just wanted to stay in bed the next morning. Breakfast at Restaurant Roy provided plenty of options, fresh, and for vegetarians as well. I loved the chia pots and fruit compotes. Staff were friendly and helpful. I was staying overnight for the Andre Rieu concert - the train station was just over the footbridge, and the number 12 tram, which went straight to the Scandinavium arena was in close walking distance. Very convenient to venues and into town. Reception kept my small suitcase safe the next day when I explored Göteborg. Fika and tea/coffee was available to guests during the day. After a late night concert, it was refreshing to be able to take a mug of tea up to the room.

Hotel rooms need a bit of refurbishment, wall paint and the bedroom desk lamps didn't work.
