Ocean Gate Resort

No coffee pot in room, no drinking cups, no WFi in room, this was advertised as being included. Shower water was Luke warm at best. Smoke alarm was flashing red . In general the staff and helpers were friendly and helpful.

Beautiful view! But very old and dated. It felt more like a camp ground than a resort. Rooms were old and doors were difficult to open and close.

I thought the property was very quaint, loved the views from my deck overlooking the water. Every staff member greeted me every time I came across them. I feel they did a wonderful job getting the property up to par seeing how they had just opened for the season on 6/18/25!! Breakfast was delicious.

Lots to do, wonderful views and a great hot breakfast buffet. We will be back for sure!

This property is breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms were cute and comfortable, bathrooms could use an update though. But we really loved having a view right out our front door of the coast.

The property is older but they are in the middle of updating it. Area is beautiful and right on the water

This place was peaceful. A little rustic but definitely not roughing it—standard hotel room with a sort of a Maine camp feel. The bay views were nice. I like the amenities (breakfast was decent, nice pool, little minigolf set-up) and there’s some decently cool stuff in Boothbay within roaming distance if you want to leave the property. Would def do this again.

The blueberry pancakes were to die for!!!

Restaurant and lounge would be great.
