Grand Hotel President

Nice rooms and en-suite with balcony and sensational views. Nice lounge bar for drinks. Good lunch menu and venue next to the pool. The breakfast was good but could be better ie. not much fresh fruit ( mostly tinned ) and the juices were not fresh either. The restaurant food was good but worked out expensive with €5 cover charge and €5 for water.

Had to ask twice to get the room serviced due to not having a door tag ( despite the hotel using a push button, electronic do not disturb system. !!

Views are beautiful. Staff are all very friendly and very helpful. I was worried from other reviews that the hotel would be nosey. But you cannot hear the rooms either side. You do hear sound if loud in the corridor but thats the same as any hotel. Hotel was very clean. Spa staff were lovely and worth a visit. The bus every 30 minutes into sorrento was brilliant and really reliable. The only two things to be mindful of the poolside bar only severs food untill 3. But the food is fab. The pool loungers aren't the most comfortable as they don't sit up properly. If you want to sit up fully we pushed our loungers against the wall and that was fine. I definitely recommend this hotel. Nice being away from the hustle and bussle of the town.

Loved the view from the dinning area, we had a little balcony and it was perfect (didn’t have a view but that was fine). Included breakfast which was really nice and loved that there was a free shuttle into the city center

Some staff members were not the friendliest but overall the rest of the staff was great and welcoming
