Front desk was awesome!! the ladies really knew how to take care of me!

Great location and very helpfull and friendly staff. The room is more like a studio, with a well equiped kitchen. Recommended!

Misleading advertising and unacceptable service. The listing advertises a kitchen in the room; however, it fails to disclose that its use requires additional daily fees. This is a material omission, especially as the booking was made through Expedia, where such conditions should be clearly stated upfront. Customer service was poor throughout. Check-in took over 30 minutes despite only two guests waiting. There were three staff members present, yet only one appeared to be assisting, reflecting a lack of organization and efficiency. The cleanliness standards were unacceptable. The kitchen floor was visibly greasy and felt sticky when walking on it, indicating inadequate cleaning. The toilet had no lid, which raises basic hygiene concerns. Towels were discolored (yellowed), and the drinking cups were oily. Given the misleading listing and substandard conditions, I expect this matter to be addressed appropriately. I will be escalating this through Expedia if necessary.

The location was close enough to public transport and good walking distance to local shops, restaurants and only a few minutes walk to the harbour. The room was spacious and well kept.

While the apartment is in a nice central location, unfortunately the doors and windows are not very sound proof and Robson street can be quite loud of a nighttime, especially on weekends and even though we were 8 floors up the noise still sounded like we were on ground level. The curtains aren’t complete blackout and the street lights are quite bright shining through on the top of the ceiling. It is also important to note that unless reading the find print regarding information about the apartment, there was no other signage or notice in the hotel room stating that the stove doesn’t come working within the accommodation cost and we had to call front desk (after buying food to cook) before we were advised that it was a $29 (plus tax) per day fee to have the stove connected and able to be used. I feel this was an important detail that should have been made way more noticeable and advised prior to booking a room with a ‘full kitchen’. There were a few areas of poor communication between whoever we were messaging at the property on booking.com and the reception staff. Prior to us arriving I had messaged asking if we could extend our booking by 2 days, to which we were told that we could and that our booking would be updated on their end. One evening passing by reception I just wanted to confirm our check out date, which was still in the system as the following morning, luckily there were still rooms available as the receptionist had to move things around to allow us to stay in our room for a further two nights, she wasn’t aware and it hadn’t been organised when originally discussed and confirmed.

First and biggest surprise is $25 per DAY fee to use the stove that is already inside of the room. This should be pointed out in front of every reservation on Booking.com instead of hiding somewhere in hotel's documentation. They would also charge you $25 for dirty dishes, and many other miscellaneous charges for stored luggage, time of check-in/check-out, etc. Speaking to the manager is useless as she repeated the same and made sure to clarify I interrupt her dinner with my call. Front desk was nice but that doesn't change anything about the hidden fees and careless approach to guests. Room was old as well, bed uncomfortable.
