Garner Hotel Liberal North

I stayed from Apr 14 - April 27th. The TV in my room never worked. I reported it and was asked "did you turn it on?" She came to room and realized, it doesn't work. I was told "somebody" would come by to fix it; never did. Bed was uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping, except for 2 nights whereby I was exhausted. My keys rarely worked and I had to consistently come back downstairs with all my stuff to have it fixed. It was tedious and annoying after an exhausting day. I considered cancelling the 2nd week, but the front staff wasn't able to help with that either. I just toughed it out knowing I don't have to return. The cleaning ladies and the ladies at breakfast were superb, friendly, and helpful. I definitely tipped them.

This hotel was quite overpriced for the location and basic room amenities. The room was not very clean. For example, when I moved a table a bit I found debris behind it, and the desk had sticky something on it. Based on that we had to clean all the surfaces in the room ourselves and then be sure to not let anything but our shoes touch the floors.

Needed to be cleaned better. Had bed bugs! Never staying there again.

The bedding was comfortable. The breakfast had no herbal tea or raisin bran - my go-to's - but it had hot items, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, etc. I particularly liked that the pool was open long hours - both a.m. and p.m.! The desk clerk was friendly and efficient.

The room was very nice. Clean and the hotel was quiet. The mattress was very comfortable. Continental breakfast options plenty and good.
