Located in gorgeous countryside! Room was great size. Even though I'm sure the area is very safe, I was particularly grateful for the private parking option since I was moving and had a lot of valuables in my car. I was also grateful for the pool to have a quick, refreshing swim after a very long day of packing and driving. Staff in the restaurant were very nice. Staff responded quickly to my questions about parking before arrival.

I do hope for correct and helpful local guidance when I travel. 1. It would be nice to tell people the closest exit from the highway is closed- my GPS didn't pick that up. 2. The guy who checked me in told me it would take 4 hours to get to Kiel- which is crazy. He said everything I needed to know was on the card he gave me but I didn't find the wifi info, which worked very poorly from my room. Even at the end of April I found the room stuffy at night- I imagine in the summer it is hot- they probably need to invest in fans. I'd agree with other comments about the restaurant at night. The food was good but overpriced. And 8.50 Eur for a bottle of water and 3.50 for hot water with lemon is offensive.

Ladies on reception were very good at speaking English, they maintained very high level of flexibility. The breakfast option of fresh juice from carrot and apple is amazing.

Fine stop over. Area best for Messe but close to autobahn 7
