"The worst hotel I have stayed at in a very long time"

This is absolutely, without exception, the WORST Marriott Chain hotel I have ever stayed in. I am currently staying in this hotel and, after writing this review, I am going downstairs to check out and move to another hotel. I am a Titanium Elite Lifetime member of the Marriott chain which means that I have stayed in numerous hotels all over the world that are part of the chain, some truly magnificent and some not so bad. This is THE WORST. The rooms are poky. I paid for a "Deluxe Room" that is hardly better than a university domitory. I had to wait over two hours to check in (despite my earned status). The airconditioning does not work. The staff are unhelpful. I have stayed in better Bread & Breakfast hotels, and this is not hyperbole. My experience has been nothing short of disastrous. If you value your money, DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL! Ever!!!!!!

I like the friendliness of the staff, but the operation of the hotel is quite pathetic.

The operation of the hotel is quite pathetic. Front desk staff wasn't able to provide basic task like giving change for local currencies.
