"Rooms need to be cleaned better."

As soon as I got out of the car I was hit by a strong wave of weed smoke. I asked for a roll a way bed but didn't receive it. Second time they never read the notes in the online booking. I was in the same room last time & I reported the outlet not working but it still wasn't fixed. Again there was hair in several places in the restoom, tub, on the clean towels and something gross on the side of the toilet. If they would do a better job cleaning the rooms their rating would be higher. Tried to add photos but the button to add them on here, hotels.com, doesn’t work.

Great for a peaceful nights rest or extended stay. I serve the homeless community in Houston often, but travel here to stay. Location is nice– 5-10 min. drive to the town shopping center whether for groceries, restaurants, clothing, etc. Staff is lovely from front desk to house keeping and I feel safe. There is a pool that is kept clean at all times and they keep their grounds clean. Not your common Motel 6. Don’t be hesitant to book. Your expectations will be exceeded.

"Updated but lacks on the cleaning."

I reserved a room on the 1st floor a month in advance. Upon arrival I was told he just saw my first floor request & no rooms were available on the 1st floor. Was blunt & didn't seem to care about customer service. Said "there is an elevator". Other staff was very nice. Well if there was a fire I'd be trapped as the elevator doesn't work & I can't use stairs. There was black hair in the towels & blanket!! Hair in the bathtub & counter with a fingernail on the counter. Shower curtain was gross. Thin walls. Can hear next door & those above you. Was kept awake until 4:30am from noise! Only electrical outlet in bathroom doesn’t work. Extremely slippery shower/tub floor. Updated furniture was nice but the mattress was very uncomfortable. Had a large indention from one side being slept on. Upon arrival ac wasn't on & room was hot & musty.
