It was near the waterfront

Staff was very helpful and kind. We were having issues with our well at home which left us without running water for several days. We stayed at a few different places in that time. The staff at Holiday Inn Express were kind enough to let us check out a little bit later so we could enjoy the water a bit longer. Also, the young lady who checked us in was particularily pleasant to deal with.

The breakfast spread was more than we expected but the omelets were a bit strange in flavor and consistency. Frozen? A bit rubbery. Skip the eggs.

This Holiday Inn Express is in a perfect location--about a 10-15 minute drive from Duluth MN, is two blocks off the main street in Superior, and has a Perkins Restaurant right across the street. The neighborhood is quiet; there is adequate parking; and the breakfast has lots of variety. The staff is professional and helpful, and the room is spacious.

It was noisy. You could hear everything going on outside the room, talking, doors closing.
