Best Western Helena - Capitol Hotel

I love staying here every time I come to the capitol. The full breakfast served in the restaurant attached is bonus.

A lot of footsteps on floor above and slammed doors. Not as quiet as I’d have liked

Location, cleanliness

Breakfast in the restaurant is deceiving. The breakfast menu for guests has five items. There is no fruit for the children. No orange or apple juice. No pastries, buns, cupcakes. Anyone of the large hotel chains that serve buffet style breakfasts offer more selection. No choices of cereals. Omelet is a pre processed rectangular square accompanied by a minuscule pre frozened wedge of crispy potato. Stayed at many a Best Western over the years. All had better breakfast selections. Fruit is crossed out on menu. When questioned about touring the State Capitol Building the desk clerk told us it wasn’t allowed. We toured the former governors mansion the next afternoon and met two couples who had just come from a public tour of the Capitol Bldg. We found gallery’s, museums, Live summer concert at the Lewis & Clark brewery, last chance gulch walking mall, by ourselves.

War vor der Buchung nicht erwähnt wird ist, dass das Frühstück nicht vom Hotel kommt sondern von einem Nachbarrestaurant. Man kann sich dort nicht vom Buffet bedienen, sondern bekommt À la Carte. Die Portionsgröße war für mich zu klein (Käseomelette und Toast), sodass ich mir für 11 Dollar extra noch zwei Pancakes bestellt habe. Man kann nämlich nur eine Sache von der Karte auswählen. Demzufolge ist das Hotel dafür zu teuer, weil satt wird man als Mann nicht.

The tub did not drain well, informed staff when leaving

We had a suite which was very nice. We had an issue with slow draining bathtub and it was repaired immediately. Front desk staff were very friendly and made you feel welcome. The free breakfast options were limited but well prepared. Hot and cold cereal options would be good to include as well as fresh fruit.

Clean room and building that is a little outdated in the hallways but great in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They provide breakfast vouchers to the restaurant next door with limited but sufficient options of freshly cooked breakfast items. So much tastier than prepackaged muffins and hard boiled eggs. Easy parking and centrally located in Helena for activities all around the town. Will definitely stay here again.

We had a good time in Helena and this hotel helped make it that way. Everything was good, clean and convenient. The only issue was that the bathroom drains did not work very well. We reported it to the front desk the last day we were there and they said they would get it fixed.
