Wyndham Garden Midland

Was charged $50 for incidentals at check in. Was told it was in case things were broken or we left our towels on the floor…said it would be back on my card in 7-10 days if everything was good.

Cleanliness was great, along with staff, but the hotel is a bit outdated. It does the job for a weekend of softball ball.

Centrally located to where I wanted to be. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly.

Never received replacement coffee or cups in the room. Did not have extra coffee at the front desk, only had decaf. Did not receive fresh towels every day. Did not pick up old towels every day. Channels on the TV did not match what the guide said. Maids did not speak any English. They knocked on the door even with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door.

The bed was comfortable. The pillows were too hard.

The extremely small bathroom with no towel bars and you had to close the door to use the toilet. Never saw a bathroom this small before. The hallway smelled like smoke.

Worst. Stay. Ever. If I could give zero stars, I would. The “luxury suite” looked like it is still in the last century. The air conditioner sounded like a jet engine preparing for takeoff, and the “complimentary breakfast” was a slice of white bread and something pretending to be orange juice. The staff looked as thrilled to be there as I was — which is saying a lot. I left with more questions than when I arrived — mainly: what did I just pay for? I had to get my door key rekeyed 3 times and each time, some how, it was something I did incorrectly. The manager said that I could check out, but they were going to still charge me. Customer Service is dead, especially at this hotel. This is not a Wyndham Garden hotel. Save yourself, stay somewhere else.

The walls are paper thin so unless you like hearing your neighbors' TVs and normal conversations, I wouldn't stay here. And if you think calling the front desk on the room phone AND your cell phone to ask for assistance will help, it won't because the front desk doesnt answer the phones. I won't be back.

Good for price, clean. Water pressure wasn’t so great. Noisy hallway, however can’t beat the price and it was clean and the staff was nice and professional.
