The employees were friendly and polite

The room had live roaches and there were crumbs and other questionable items under the bed. I spent a restless night truly wondering if I was alone in the bed or not. The room was located next to a side entrance door that would not close, allowing for a major security breach. I had to treat both my vehicle and luggage for potential bug infestation from the hotel

The location

Our stay wasn't pleasant at all. Due to unforseen circumstances someone next to our room was screaming as we were sleeping and it kept up awake most of the morning. We were later informed the the lady husband had passed. That one night stay turned out to be disastrous.

A bit outdated and needing renovation

Staff was friendly

The room had a very sour smell. And many time walking through lobby, it had the smell of someone vaping or other smoking

Breakfast was adequate. Not great and the way it was set up made it hard to get to some of the things that I might have wanted.

The room smelled like a wet dog and didn't have a microwave or refrigerator even though the site said they would have both.

Due to some confusion our reservation was made one day later than we needed through a 3rd party booking. The error was discovered when we got to check in. Brandon who was assisting us tried to change the date for us, but found that we would have to contact the 3rd party service to ask them to do it. A VERY long struggle ensued. To make a long story short, Brandon, with requested permission, arranged a room for us. We will NOT be using a 3rd party booking service in the future. We are very grateful to Brandon and Microtel for caring for a couple of weary travelers. We have stayed at this location before and find this is a great value for a clean room and exceptional service. We recommend this hotel and staff if you need a spot to rest in Marianna!
