Stallmästaregården, Stockholm, a Member of Design Hotels

Fantastic hotel, a little out of centre but i liked that as its in a beautiful park. The hotel food and staff are just perfect.

Charming Hotel with distinctive Nordic character, still within the structure of an 18th century coach house Inn but with rooms boasting modern fittings and conveniences.

It was very cosy hotel, beautiful style and sooo cozy! Just one negative thing, my room felt cold, but I did not make an effort to ask the stuff if they can turn up the heaters higher, maybe it was possible to have it warmer in my room. I was anyway most of my time sightseeing Stockholm. If I would go to Stockholm again, I will book the same hotel. You can take a nice promenade from the hotel along the main shops and cafes-street leading up till Soedermalm.

It is a historical building and it has been maintained very well. The location, besides the lake, is extremely good. Rooms are clean. Food provided for breakfast and dinner were very good. The only limitation is a bit difficult to find for the first visit since the road is quite complicated.

Very pleasant hotel . Delicious food at dinner and wonderful breakfast. 10/15 minute walk to metro and then access to all of Stockholm. There is a bus connection 5 minute walk .

Overall service is lower than expected for a hotell as Stallmästaregården market itself to be. Low staff, check in experience was average, barely room service available, no spots in the restaurant. But room where nice and and beds were comfortable. Interior design is nice and hotell is well maintained.

The hotel does not have signage. So if you're walking from the airport bus stop, which is a short walk, you'll struggle to find the hotel. Also there's a cul-de-sac with multiple doors and pathways, and no sign for the door that leads to the reception either. The place is a heritage building converted to a hotel. I got the room next to the road, so that's a minus. The room has old/period furniture. I did not see a room heater in the room, the ones that are attached to the wall. It was the second week of November, so it got cold in the night. There's no water kettle in the room. The bathroom has separate taps for hot and cold water, so getting the right temperature takes some juggling. The breakfast is good. The restaurant overlooks the lake. The bus stop to take you into town or solna is close by. The hotel locks the main door in the night and you have to ring a bell outside to have someone open the door. I find that anxiety inducing. I got the room at a good price compared to the hotels at Solna. Overall an average place.

Easy access and excellent location to city center.

I've stayed at this hotel on two occasions now, both visits went without issue. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well appointed, not huge but ideal. The restaurant is a must if you stay at this hotel, the food is exceptional.

Fresh, nice surroundings and a great breakfast! I have no complaints at all to be honset and would recommend this hotel, specially if you are traveling with a car. I personally live in Stockholm, but needed to stay away from my apartment for a couple of days and tried a different hotel each night. This was, by far, my favourite (others included Clarion, Rival and Hilton)
