Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Columbus Airport

We left too early to enjoy the breakfast. It was nice to leave your car in the parking lot and take the shuttle to the airport. The room was nice.

As I had a problem with checking in, my visit did not start off well. However staff patiently worked through issues that were not of their doing. The problem was with the booking broker who made a mistake in spelling my name. As a result, there was an uncomfortable delay in checking in.

The breakfast was not as appealing as I have experience in other Marriott properties. Hot was not hot. While the hot foods were in heaters, it seemed to be for appearance only. The food was not hot that was supposed to be hot.

Proximity to CMH - Shuttle Service

As a longtime Bonvoy member and doing business at the airport my teams and I have stayed at the Fairfield and previously tried other close proximity brands. The Fairfield is as you would aspect, but the staff, particularly Pam, Justin, Jules, and Alexis are nothing short of incredible and make the stay worth while. The are simply outstanding in every way. Their positive attitudes and accommodations for any requests are something I've only seen at the Ritz; the only difference is they don't end every statement with "my pleasure"! I have to add that the shuttle drivers are equally helpful and make it extremely convenient. Let me be clear it's a no frills hotel as you'd expect at the Fairfield level, but if you're looking for clean, safe, close proximity to the airport, at a good value proposition and a restful night this is the spot! Thanks all for making my multiple visits, shall I say memorable! Unprecedented for me after traveling extensively!
